Project Tambon: A Disaster Prevention & Mitigation Project for Fisherfolk

This project aims to address the following:

● Loss of livelihood of the small-scale fisherfolks due to destruction of traditional

fishing gears caused by a typhoon, a squall, or the southwest monsoon;

● Fisherfolks’ indebtedness as the cost to rebuild and restore the traditional fishing

gear currently being used is expensive.
