Innovation
Financial Support: Seed funding will be given to prototype and test innovation ideas
Non-financial Support: Center for Disaster Preparedness (CDP) will leverage its existing partners and networks to ensure the success of the project. As one of the CSO representatives in the National Disaster Risk Reductions and Management Council (NDRRMC), CDP will also promote its advocacy for DRR innovations.
Needs-based Capacity Development: Innovators will be given training based on their needs.
What you can do
Innovations
Development of DRR innovations with input from mentors
Help in locating and encouraging participation of local actors and communities in Pinnovation Academy
Logistics
Support in the prototyping and testing of innovations by logistical support (venue, transportation, inviting participants)
Policy
Issue a statement, memo, or ordinance supporting the development of DRR innovations in their communities
Linkages
Actively help in engagement of innovators with possible partners that will support further improvements of their DRR innovations
Visibility
Visit or participate in activities of innovator team, especially during demos.
Help in disseminating Information, Educations, and Communication materials about the project, be it print or on social media.
