Pinnovation Academy

The Pinnovation Academy is a project spearheaded by the Community-Led Innovation Partnership (CLIP), being facilitated by Humanitarian Innovation Fund (HIF-ELRHA), Asian Disaster Reduction and Response Network (ADRRN), Start Network, and the Center for Disaster Preparedness Foundation Inc (CDPFI). Under this project, fifteen (15) DRR (Disaster Risk Reduction) and CCA (Climate Change Adaptation) innovations have been implemented nationwide for Phase 1 (April 2020 – March 2023). Eight  (8) out of the fifteen (15) innovations went  through the scaling phase  with five (5) new innovations for Phase 2 (April 2023 – March 2026).

Local innovations in DRRM and CCA addressed issues on flooding, typhoons, landslides, droughts, mental health, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), DRR education, emergency response, food security, agricultural development, resilient livelihoods, forest protection and coastal management.
